D800E. It’s here !

D800E. I just can’t believe it’s here!!
I was told to wait til July sometime but alas, here it is!
I’ve taken a few shots with it but I’ll wait for tomorrow when the sun’s up for some real test pics. Here are some shots of the newest addition to our family (using my old D700) to tide you over til then.
The first impressions are brilliant! It feels absolutely solid as I think they’ve used harder rubber for the grips and everything seems tighter.
I LOVE the new look of the menus. even though they’ve only changed a little, it’s awesome. But maybe it’s just because I’m REALLY EXCITED!
As for the images, they look sweet. No moire yet.. LOL. I’ll test that tomorrow too.
Waiting for my Nikon D800E !
Yep! I’ve just ordered mine and they tell me that it should be getting to me around June.
As Nikon has brought out 2 almost identical versions of the D800 (the D800 and the D800E), I had a good long think about which version to get and there were a lot of points to consider.
